This specialized form of industrial construction is almost always completed during a plant shut-down period. Quick Turn-around projects are intense by nature. They must be completed within a compressed schedule with all work done, the site clean and useable by a certain time as specified in the contract. That deadline is usually prior to the first shift following the shutdown. There is no room for error. Crews run in shifts around the clock and over holidays and weekends to get the project completed on time. These projects vary in size and scope and tend to be highly specialized.
